Inn "Zum lustigen Schmied"

From 1921-1958 the old inn was run by the Mauerhofer family under the name "Zum Schmied". The name "Zum lustigen Schmied" comes from the economy of a wheelwright and blacksmith on the same ground. From 1981-2016 the inn was run by Michael Waldsam (son of Maria Waldsam) ... handed over to Christoph Waldsam on April 1st, 2016. The inn was therefore always a family business.

What to expect

We want to spoil our guests with regional products and home cooking, but also culinary highlights. From the traditional schnitzel to the gourmet menu with accompanying wine, we will try to implement all our guests' wishes. During our special theme weeks, we will not only serve regional specialties, but also one or dare another culinary excursion into the wide world!
